Who can support disseminate and help anchor IDEA4RC’s work beyond the scope of EU grant.
Conducting research on rare cancers is difficult because data are scarce and scattered across several clinical centres. Researchers would benefit from being able to analyse data collected by many of them, but this is challenging due to a lack of interoperability and strict privacy regulations that limit data access and sharing.
To overcome these challenges, IDEA4RC offers researchers and clinicians a tool to explore the data within the ecosystem, assess its quality and manage data permit applications. In addition, to facilitate data use for research, the tool also supports clinical decision-making.
