IDEA4RC representatives will participate in a meeting organized by the eCREAM consortium and POLHIS – Research Center for the Ethics and Politics of Health Data Ecosystems (University of Milan) together with the European Commission (Directorate-General for research and innovation) to share lessons learnt on innovative solutions developed for the secondary use of EHRs and patient registries in multi-national research projects.
The meeting will take place in Brussels on 29 June, 2026.
eCREAM and IDEA4RC are part of the InToEHR research cluster of Horizon Europe projects.
A part of the program will be devoted to discussing the researchers’ perspectives on the implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS), as a vital framework for the secondary use of health data across the European Union, creating significant opportunities for biomedical research and public health.
